Chosen as Marty Whelan’s Album Of The Week on RTE Lyric FM and the first single, Blue Is The Colour Of Lonesome received an RTE Radio One Recommends.

“If Tomorrow is a deeply personal album that I’ve been working on for nearly 3 years and though it is my third solo album it is my first full vocal album that I hope marks an exciting new musical chapter! The album is about love, longing and loss, all of the emotions that have been heavily present in my own life over the past few years”.

Produced by renowned multi-instrumentalist, John McCusker(Mark Knopfler Band) the album includes a star-studded cast of musical friends and cohorts including: Eddi Reader, Kris Drever, Alan Kelly, Phil Cunningham, John Doyle, Michael McGoldrick, Donald Shaw, Ian Carr, Aaron Jones, James Mackintosh, James Lindsay, Johnny ‘Ringo’ McDonagh, Graeme Blevins, Tom Walsh, Alice Allen & Dónal Clancy.

It includes a collection of songs from the Irish, folk and Americana traditions including Dougie MacLean’s poignant Garden Valley, about displacement and the highland clearances; Terence O’Flaherty’s Inis Díomáin, which conjures nostalgic imagery of youthful rambles; Doc Watson’s Walk On Boy; Blue Is The Colour of Lonesome, a folk inspired re-imagining of a bluegrass song; Galway’s Sweet Bay, written by Steph and her own personal homage to women of times past that did not have the fortune or circumstance to pursue a passion; and the haunting sean-nós song Aird Uí Chuain.
